Obverse description Right-facing armored bust of King Charles XII of Sweden with long flowing curly hair, wearing a decorated breastplate and draped mantle. The circular Latin legend runs along the rim, with the engraver's initials P.H.M. visible below the bust truncation.

Reverse description A winged Victory figure wearing a helmet is seated triumphantly over defeated enemies and scattered arms and trophies in the foreground. She holds a laurel wreath aloft, with the city and fortress of Narva depicted in low relief in the background. The upper legend arcs around the rim, and a rectangular exergue below contains a three-line inscription with the date 1700. The engraver's initials P.H.M. appear at lower left.
