Obverse description The medal is surmounted by a royal crown with suspension loop. Within a central oval field framed by a laurel wreath, three left-facing busts in superimposed relief represent the first three Kings of Belgium. Flanking ribbon banners bear the dates 1830 and 1930, and at the base a crowned Belgian coat of arms featuring a rampant lion on a hatched field projects below the medal body. The engraver's signature 'H. Heusers' appears in the lower right of the oval field.
