Obverse description The obverse features a large relief depiction of the obverse of the original Hungarian gold florin of 1325, showing a fleur-de-lis design with beaded border, overlaid by a background scene depicting a standing figure of King Charles I (Karol Robert) in medieval attire holding a shield.
