Obverse description A five-pointed star in white enamel overlaid on a sunburst of radiating gilt and silver-tipped rays. The central medallion features a blue enamel field bearing an Arabic legend in gilt script, surrounded by a gilt border with geometric meander pattern. The suspension consists of a gilt oval device depicting the Egyptian Eagle of Saladin, attached to a plain ring loop.
