Obverse description White bisque porcelain oval medallion in high relief depicting a piqueur (huntsman) in 18th-century costume, holding a hunting horn, standing before the Moritzburg Hunting Lodge with its distinctive domed towers. A hound is shown at the huntsman's feet, and a foliate wreath frames the upper field. Decorative balustrade elements with trophy motifs appear in the lower foreground.
