| Obverse description | Central field displays the coat of arms of Kronstadt — a crown surmounting a rooted tree — encircled by the legend KRONSTADT and the date 1886. Surrounding the central device, sixteen heraldic shields bearing the arms of Transylvanian Saxon cities are arranged in a ring, each identified by its German name in the border legend. The whole is framed by a beaded outer rim. |
