Obverse description Conjoined facing busts of Princess Victoria Mary of Teck (left, in profile) and Prince George, Duke of York (right, in profile) set within two oval beaded frames joined at the centre by a heart bearing entwined initials G and M. A royal crown rises above the junction of the frames, and crossed anchors and naval trophies appear below. The maker's signature 'SPINK & SON LONDON' is inscribed in the lower field. Each portrait is surrounded by a circular legend naming the sitter.
