Reverse description Detailed view of the United States Treasury Building in high relief, depicted in a neoclassical architectural style with a prominent columned portico and flanking wings. A shield with an eagle appears above the roofline amid clouds, and below the building a decorative cartouche flanked by foliate scrollwork bears the Roman numeral date MCM XXIII with a small heraldic shield at center. Engravers' names J.R. Sinnock and Adam Pietz appear below the building.
