Obverse description The central field features relief depictions of both sides of the first Russian ruble coin of 1654, issued during the reign of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich Romanov, shown overlapping in the field. The legend in Cyrillic arcs around the upper portion of the coin, with the date 1654 appearing in the lower exergue, flanked by two bullet points.

Reverse description The reverse features the Goznak institutional logo at center, rendered as a stylized circular emblem with horizontal line shading and a depicted figure, surrounded by a ring of dots. The legend ГОЗНАК arcs across the top, the series title РЕДКОСТИ МУЗЕЯ ИСТОРИИ ДЕНЕГ curves along the lower arc, and the year 2018 appears below the central emblem. A small mint mark (СПМД) is visible at the right edge.
