| Obverse description | The obverse features a bust portrait of General Alexei Brusilov in uniform within a decorative cartouche at the top of the field. Below, two relief scenes are depicted: at left, a field artillery piece with crew in action, and at lower right, a group of soldiers in combat dress. At the bottom of the field, a symmetrical motif of crossed cannons with shells appears in the exergue. The Cyrillic legend naming Brusilov arcs across the upper field, with additional inscriptions identifying World War I (1914–1918) and the Brusilov Breakthrough. |
