| Reverse description | The allegorical figure of Pax (Peace) is seated facing, holding an olive branch in her right hand and a cornucopiae in her left, crowned and draped in classical robes. Flanking her are multiple heraldic shields in high relief, those on her right bearing the arms of Great Britain, France, and Denmark among others, and those on her left the arms of the United Provinces. In the lower field, two infant genii support a cartouche bearing the Dutch inscription, one holding a torch and the other an arrow; a rope border frames the entire composition. |
