Obverse description A winged allegorical figure of Peace stands facing in the centre of the field, holding a laurel wreath in each outstretched hand. Below her feet are two shields bearing the Union Flag and the Royal Standard, flanked by an encircling wreath of olive and palm branches. The peripheral legend naming Allied nations is arranged within a border of chain links.
