Obverse description A winged allegorical figure of Peace, shown three-quarter length facing slightly right, holds an olive branch aloft in her right hand while a potted flowering plant stands to her left. In the lower field, a fallen soldier, a field gun, scattered debris, and a row of small crosses evoke the battlefield, with the word PEACE and the date 1919 inscribed in the central field. The circular legend around the border reads IN COMMEMORATION OF THE GREAT WAR 1914 1918 PEACE 1919.
