Depicted is the Order of Suvorov, 1st class, a Soviet award from the Great Patriotic War. It was established by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on July 29, 1942, along with the Orders of Kutuzov and Alexander Nevsky. The order was awarded to Red Army commanders for outstanding achievements in troop management. Military units were also awarded.
