Depicted is the Order of Kutuzov, 1st class, a Soviet award from the Great Patriotic War. It was established by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR on July 29, 1942, along with the Orders of Suvorov and Alexander Nevsky. Unlike the Order of Suvorov, the Order of Kutuzov had a more `defensive` and `staff` character.
