Obverse description Two heraldic supporters face each other in high relief: a rampant lion to the left brandishing a sword and supporting an oval shield bearing the arms of Zürich, and a rampant bear to the right brandishing a sword and supporting an oval shield bearing the arms of Bern. Above both figures, a radiant sun bursts from the upper field. The engraver's initials HIG appear in the lower exergue. The legend arcs around the upper border.

Reverse description Six captured military flags arranged in a fan-like display dominate the central field, with a full suit of armor in relief at center holding a shield and sword. In the lower field, a cannon with cannonballs, pikes, swords, and other war trophies are depicted in detailed relief. The date MDCCXII appears in the lower exergue, and the legend encircles the upper border.
