Obverse description Four conjoined busts in left-facing profile relief: Hitler, Mussolini, Chamberlain, and Daladier, arranged in overlapping succession across the field. A dove with an olive branch appears in low relief to the left. The engraver's signature K.GOETZ is inscribed below the busts. The names of the four statesmen are rendered in two lines above and below the effigies.

Below the building, the civic coat-of-arms of Munich — featuring a Moor's head flanked by twin towers with a spread eagle above bearing a swastika — is shown in relief. The date 29.IX.1938 flanks the coat-of-arms in the lower field.
