Obverse description The obverse features a proof-quality mirrored field with two principal relief elements: at left, a gilt effigy of St. George the Victorious on horseback slaying the dragon, and at right, a detailed architectural view of the Senate Palace within the Moscow Kremlin, designed by M.F. Kazakov in the 18th century. The circular border legend reads МОСКОВСКИЙ КРЕМЛЬ at top in Cyrillic and THE MOSCOW KREMLIN at bottom in Latin, with inner inscriptions identifying the building as СЕНАТСКИЙ ДВОРЕЦ, attributing it to the architect, and noting its role as the Residence of the President of Russia.
