Obverse description The central field features a raised oval replica of the ancient seal-impression of Shema, servant of Jeroboam, discovered at Megiddo in 1904, depicting a roaring lion in relief with an inscription in ancient Paleo-Hebrew script above and below the animal. The legend מגידו appears in the upper field in modern Hebrew square script, and ARMAGEDDON in Latin letters arcs along the lower border.
