| Reverse description | Aerial bird's-eye view in high relief of the Great Mosque of Mecca (al-Masjid al-Haram), with the Ka'ba (الكَعْبة) rendered as a cubic structure at the centre of a vast open courtyard. Concentric rings of pilgrims in tawaf encircle the Ka'ba, conveying the immensity of the hajj gathering, while the colonnaded galleries of the mosque surround the entire scene along the periphery. |
