Reverse description Allegorical scene in high relief depicting Pax (Peace) as a winged female figure descending from clouds, holding a caduceus aloft in her right hand and a cornucopia in her left, presenting its fruits to Gallia, who is seated to the right wearing a helmet and resting her arm on a shield decorated with fleurs-de-lis. Scattered arms and a globe lie in the exergue below a ground line, above which the inscription FOEDUS WESTPHALICUM. / XXIV. OCT. MDCXLVIII. is engraved. The initials D.V. appear at lower left. The legend PACIS EVENTUM. arcs along the upper field.
