Reverse description The enthroned Pope Leo XIII, wearing the papal tiara and cope and holding the keys of Saint Peter, is depicted in high relief at center, irradiated by rays emanating from the dove of the Holy Spirit above. To his left stands a winged Angel, and to his right the allegorical figure of the Church bearing a radiate crown and staff. At the base of the throne, a winged putto reclines atop a globe inscribed with the names of the four continents.
