Obverse description The obverse depicts in high relief the marble sculpture of Flora, goddess of flowers, standing on a pedestal amid a wooded landscape with tall trees in the background — a faithful rendering of the famous statue in the Summer Garden, Leningrad. The figure is shown in a classical draped garment, holding flowers, with a floral wreath in her hair. Below the exergue line, the legend С. ИВАНОВ appears at lower left, the LMD mint mark at lower right, and the inscription ФЛОРА is centred at the bottom.
