Obverse description The obverse depicts in high relief a sculptural group after P.K. Klodt's famous bronze statuary on the Anichkov Bridge: a nude male figure kneeling on a plinth, straining to restrain a rearing horse by its bridle. The green-toned coloured field accentuates the sculptural forms and gives the piece the appearance of a patinated bronze monument.
