Obverse description The obverse depicts a relief view of the Bolshevik Plant industrial complex with smokestacks and factory buildings in the central field, flanked by laurel branches at the lower sides. Five Soviet decorations — including two Orders of Lenin and two Orders of the Red Banner of Labour — are displayed in high relief across the upper portion of the field. The legend and anniversary numerals appear in the lower portion, with the year in the exergue.

Reverse description The reverse features a relief view of the original 19th-century Obukhov Steel Plant buildings set along a waterway, framed by an olive wreath. At the top of the field is the factory's original emblem incorporating an anchor motif, flanked by decorative foliate sprays. A multi-line inscription in pre-revolutionary Cyrillic script occupies the upper central field, with the founding year 1863 displayed in a cartouche at the base.
