Obverse description Bust of King Sigismund of Luxembourg facing slightly right, wearing a large fur hat and ornate robes, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. The Hungarian legend reading ZSIGMOND and the dates 1387–1437 appear to the right of the effigy, with an engraver's monogram visible to the left.
