| Obverse description | Conjoined crowned busts of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra in high relief, facing right, both wearing ceremonial robes, within a beaded border. The surrounding legend is punctuated by a rose between 'VII' and 'ALEXANDRA', a shamrock between 'ALEXANDRA' and 'CROWNED', a dot before '1902', and a thistle after '1902'. The date '26 JUNE' is inscribed vertically in the left field. The medal is pierced at the top with a suspension ring attached. |
