| Obverse description | Facing bust in slight three-quarter view of Károly Knézich, Hungarian general and martyr of Arad, depicted in military uniform with decorative braiding and epaulettes, wearing pince-nez. An engraved facsimile signature appears to the right in the field. The legend around the upper rim reads KNÉZICH KÁROLY with the life dates 1808–1849 in the lower exergue. The engraver's initials BGY appear to the left of the bust. |
