Obverse description High-relief depiction of a group of figures in motion, dominated by a bearded elder facing right and clutching a staff, surrounded by several other figures pressing close against him in a scene of communal exodus or wandering. The composition fills the entire field with no legend, with the engraver's initials visible in the lower right of the relief.

Reverse description The reverse field is entirely occupied by raised block-letter inscriptions arranged in two sections: the title legend 'WANDERING JEW' appears prominently in the upper portion within a recessed panel, followed below by a multi-line descriptive text filling the lower field.
