Reverse description The central field bears a mosaic-style depiction of King David, crowned and seated, playing a large harp, after the ancient synagogue mosaic from Gaza. Behind him, a stylized city wall is rendered in relief. Along the left circumference, an inscription in ancient Paleo-Hebrew script from the Tel Dan Stele is engraved. Along the right and upper circumference, the legend 'He Called it the City of David 2 Samuel' in English and the Hebrew equivalent 'ויקרא לה עיר דוד שמואל ב' arc around the design.
