Reverse description The central field features a raised facsimile of an ancient Roman-era city coin of Lod (Diospolis), depicting the left-facing bust of Tyche wearing a turreted mural crown, surrounded by a dotted border and the partial Greek legend 'ΛCEΠ CEOUH ΔΙΟCΠΟΛΙC'. The broad flat rim carries a bilingual legend in Hebrew above and in Latin script below, reading 'מטבע לוד ג׳תתקע״א-ז׳' and 'COIN OF LOD 211-217 C.E.', flanked by two raised dots at the sides.
