Obverse description The obverse features six segmented panels in relief, each depicting a famous Irish landmark: Blarney Castle, Cliffs of Moher, Celtic Cross, Irish Cottage, Giant's Causeway, and Phoenix Park. At the centre is a raised enamelled black ring bearing the legend IRELAND at top, encircling a detailed relief of the Rock of Cashel with its name inscribed below, and a decorative clan-badge style ornament at the base.
