Reverse description
A circular composition featuring nine stylized monkeys in various poses arranged around the rim, symbolizing the institute’s primatological research. At the center is a large baboon head in profile, similar to the earlier 1927 medal motif. Below the central portrait is a shallow laboratory dish (symbolic of experimental research). The reverse is fully pictorial and contains no inscription.
