Obverse description Two allegorical female figures seated on either side of a decorated well, one holding a bowl and the other a hand mirror, with an owl perched at the base of the well between them. The Latin legend arcs through the upper field. In the lower exergue, the engraver's signature reads: W. SEIDAN INV. & FEC.

Reverse description Central cartouche bearing a multi-line Hungarian inscription with the date 1865, surmounted by a Hungarian royal crown. The coat of arms of Pozsony (a castle with towers) is displayed at the base of the cartouche. The circular legend runs around the outer border of the reverse field.
