| Obverse description | The official badge of HMCS Shearwater depicted in high relief at center: a circular wreath of laurel enclosing a seabird in flight over stylized waves, surmounted by a naval crown. A rectangular scroll bearing the legend SHEARWATER is placed between the crown and the wreath. A small maple leaf ornament appears at the base of the wreath. The mint signature WELLINGS is inscribed in small letters at the bottom of the field. The outer border is composed of a raised bead ring. |
