Obverse description The obverse features a high-relief scene depicting the signing of the Vietnam ceasefire agreement, with two groups of figures facing each other and shaking hands before an aircraft tail fin in the background. The legend U.S. WITHDRAWS FROM VIETNAM curves along the upper border, flanked by small five-pointed stars, with JANUARY 27, 1973 inscribed along the lower border. A small engraver's monogram appears in the lower exergue.
