Obverse description The obverse displays the official club crest of St Kilda Football Club in relief at centre, comprising a shield bearing the abbreviation 'St K.F.C.' in a header panel above a bold cross of Saint George, flanked by laurel-like wings. The legend 'ST KILDA F.C.' arcs along the upper field, the club motto 'FORTIUS QUO FIDELIUS' appears on a ribbon banner below the shield, and the centenary dates '1897 - 1996' are inscribed in the lower field.
