Obverse description Conjoined busts in left profile of the four allied rulers — Ferdinand I of Bulgaria (far left, outside the frame), Wilhelm II of Germany, Franz Joseph I of Austria-Hungary, and Mohammed V of the Ottoman Empire (far right, outside the frame) — the central pair presented within a rectangular relief frame. A radiant star with rays emanates from above, and a fasces flanked by laurel and oak branches fills the lower field. The encircling legend names all four rulers, with the maker's mark 'M. & W. ST.' in the lower field.
