Obverse description Conjoined crowned busts of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth in left-facing profile, in high relief, with the King in the foreground. The surrounding raised band bears the bilingual legend above and below: "ROYAL VISIT" above and "KONINKLIKE BESOEK" below, separated by raised stops. The designer's initials "P.M." appear at the base of the King's shoulder.
