Obverse description Conjoined busts left of King George V and Queen Mary, both wearing crowns, with the King in uniform and the Queen in formal dress with pearl necklace. The circumferential legend reads H.M. KING GEORGE V and H.M. QUEEN MARY around the upper field, with CROWNED 22ND JUNE 1911 along the lower rim.

Reverse description A standing figure of Britannia in classical robes and plumed helmet raises a trident aloft with her right hand and extends an olive branch with her left, accompanied by a lion at her side, both standing upon a rocky promontory with a warship visible in the lower left field. Six ribbon banners bearing the names of British dominions and territories radiate around the upper field. The maker's inscription HEMING & C° LONDON appears in the exergue.
