Reverse description Central circular seal depicting a robed figure seated on a throne within a Gothic architectural frame, surrounded by the Latin municipal legend of Christchurch. Below the seal, two decorative scrolled banners carry the commemorative inscription, flanked on either side by laurel branches in relief. A Tudor rose ornament appears between the scrolls. A suspension loop is visible at the top.
