Obverse description Right-facing uniformed bust of Admiral Alexander Arthur Hood, Lord Bridport, in high relief, wearing naval uniform with epaulettes and lace cravat. The legend curves around the upper periphery, with the engraver's initials 'P.K.' visible at the bottom of the field and 'BANCKO' inscribed on the truncation.
