Reverse description Britannia standing facing, helmeted and draped, set against a radiate glory of sunbeams. She holds a lance surmounted by a helmet in her right hand and a cornucopia in her left, with a Union shield and an anchor to her right and a couchant lion to her left. Floral emblems of the nations appear in the exergue. The legend FELICITAS BRITANNIAE arcs around the upper periphery, and a three-line date inscription in Roman numerals occupies the lower exergue.
