Reverse description Allegorical scene in high relief depicting several winged figures forming a circle representing global postal unity, set against dramatic clouds in the upper field. In the lower right, a robed figure carries a parcel amid rocky terrain symbolizing the reaches of postal delivery. The legend is divided by a horizontal line: the Latin text 'UNION POSTALE UNIVERSELLE' appears above the line, while the Arabic and French congress inscriptions appear in the exergue below.
