Reverse description An allegorical composition in high relief depicting two female figures: a standing draped figure representing Denmark on the right, holding a long scepter in her left arm and presenting with her right hand a laurel wreath bearing the date 1836, suspended below two additional wreaths inscribed 1636 and 1736, the three wreaths arranged vertically in the upper field. A veiled seated figure representing Religion occupies the left, holding an open book (Bible) on her lap, with a small swan to her lower left. A shield bearing the arms of Denmark appears to the lower right. The legend PIE MEMOR is distributed as individual letters around the upper field. A three-line exergual inscription appears below a ground line.
