Obverse description Laureate bust of King Frederik V in right profile, mounted on a decorated pedestal with weapons, armor, and palm branches at its base. Surrounding the central effigy are eleven circular medallions arranged in a genealogical tree, each bearing a portrait bust of a ruler of the House of Oldenburg, with the crowned medallion of Christian I prominently placed at the apex. The partial legend arcs along the upper left and right fields of the medal.

Reverse description The reverse bears an entirely inscribed field of 21 lines of Latin text in varying letter sizes, with a small decorative bird motif at the top above the inscription and a small ornament at the bottom.
