Reverse description The crowned coat of arms of Salzburg occupies the central field, depicting a divided shield with a rampant lion on the left and horizontal bars on the right, surmounted by an ornate crown. A circular legend arcs around the upper portion of the field, with the dates '1816' and '1916' flanking the shield below, and the inscription '1.MAI' in the lower exergue. The border features a beaded inner rim.
