Reverse description A large relief Red Cross occupies the central field, superimposed over a stylised globe. Small human figures depicting humanitarian scenes — including an adult with a child and a group of figures — are rendered in low relief within the upper and lower arms of the cross. The dates 1922 and 1982 appear in the horizontal arms of the cross, commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Red Cross Youth service. A bilingual circular legend surrounds the design within a beaded border.
