Reverse description The reverse bears a 20-line Latin dedicatory inscription filling the entire field, recording the laying of the foundation stone of the church at Hanau on 25 May 1658 by Johann Georg II, Elector of Saxony, in the name of Count Friedrich Casimir of Hanau. The text is arranged in evenly spaced lines with ornamental separators, surmounted by the abbreviated monogram 'SS' at the top.
