Obverse description The obverse depicts in relief the Prague Castle complex with Saint Vitus Cathedral prominently featured against a blue enameled field with radiating sunbeams. In the lower portion, a red enameled five-pointed star is flanked by the tricolor of the Czechoslovak flag in white, red, and blue enamel, framed by a laurel branch motif.
